An Albino Praying Mantis

While watering my flower gardens this evening, an albino praying mantis snuck out of a mum bush. I kindly thanked him for keeping pesky bugs at bay and told him I was glad he lived at my house. It reminded me of the magic of finding cool bugs when I was a kid. The colors and alien-looking bodies of praying mantises and katydids filled me with awe. There is still enough kid in me to believe the albino praying mantis really could sense my good intentions and gratitude towards him.
